The stars looked different out there. Brighter, maybe. Or maybe it was just me - different in that temporary, magical way that only happens when you're far from home. Every night felt like a secret. Like the air itself was holding its breath for us.

I don't want to overthink it. It was just an adventure. A short one. The kind you don't talk about, but secretly replay in your head. And yeah, maybe there was something - few nights, smiles, and goodbyes that lasted one second too long. But that's the thing about travel romances, right? They stay where you leave them. Like postcards you never actually send.

Now it's back to real life. Back to school group chats and empty fridge notes and trying not to fall asleep during history class. I keep scrolling through photos that already feel like they belong to someone else. I'm not sad exactly, just... between things. Like I left a version of me somewhere there and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go back and get her or just keep moving forward.

I'll be fine. I've got homework and a cracked phone screen and friends who want to know everything and nothing at the same time. But part of me is still lying under a sky full of stars.
