Life's a beach
It's not you it's me. Never had such a phrase been so true. It had happened again. Nate had happened again. They met, they fell, it was great until it wasn't.
He was once called a tiger, but leopard felt more appropriate right now, because he had spots that would never change. No matter how good it felt in the beginning he was realising now it would never last, he wasn't capable of it. The love and kindness given to him smothered him until he couldn't breathe anymore. So he did what he does best. Quietly withdrew, offering nothing but meaningless platitudes and retreated to the one place he felt himself.
Back on the beach, to the sand and waves, to his board and weed. It was becoming a sad truth, that people were better off without him.
