Shanghai For Next Four Years

Shanghai has chosen me once again. Then I have the responsibility to discuss my plans for the next four years. I will mainly introduce the situation to you in terms of the staffing arrangements at the city management level.

Undoubtedly, Elizabeth Robinson deserves to be highlighted. The vitality and honor she has brought to the city are truly precious. I will continue to fully support her as the Minister of Sports, leading Shanghai to achieve good results in the World Cup, Olympics, and PFL etc.

Sean Pibernat is a new friend I'd like to introduce with emphasis. He and his family have extensive experience. Driven by his love for the city, he has voluntarily applied to become a citizen of Shanghai and is the top candidate for the position of Chief Police. Before taking up the post, he will mainly stay in Shanghai, closely watching those who attempt to commit crimes.

Nearly the whole world has experienced the charm of Lux Teel, yet few know about her deep love for Shanghai and the Chinese community. She has always been a crucial supporter of Shanghai's future development and is getting ready to take on greater responsibilities. I'm well aware that she is trustworthy for the city.

These are the key figures in Shanghai over the next four years. As I stressed during my election campaign, Shanghai will become more and more international and dynamic, always keeping its doors wide open to welcome friends. We are not an 'Eastern London' or 'Eastern New York'. We are Shanghai, a Shanghai that takes pride in itself and is full of charm.
