Movement III "Halloween."
We spent a day apart. I had told a friend that I'd go to see her on that day. Yet, in the evening, I couldn't wait anymore.
I bought a car.
The fastest car possible. I needed to see him. He had rented a house in Istanbul. A wonderful villa.
I met his brother. Deniz had talked quite a lot about Şafak and I was really glad to meet him. It was a... pretty special moment. Because we were in a new home and I was meeting his family. His home. It had enough rooms for us to crash with him. His brother, he and I had a tea together before his brother left.
We went to the garden.
I had promised him I'd take care of it and I'd make grow roses and every kind of flower. We had dinner in the garden. I could barely eat because I was far more interested in the way that his lips moving.
When we finished eating, well after midnight, already Halloween, I came closer. And asked him if I could kiss him. He nodded and my heart started beating so fast and so hard that I almost forgot how to breathe. Nothing but those lips mattered in the world. The centre of the universe and the sole reason of my existence were those lips. So tantalizing and, at the same time, so accessible. Because he had said yes.
When I pressed my lips to his, the world came to an end. His lips, so soft against mine, and that soft scratch of another stubble against my skin... tender, so tender. Sweet, so sweet. The whole existence around me changed, quickly, too quickly. And he was the centre of it. Again. Mine.
I kissed him.
Again and again. And again and again, until we heard a giggle. Despite of feeling like teenagers, none of us had giggled.
Our little pirates had been spying on us, from their room's window. When we arrived to their room, they were already calling each other sister. Four days after we met. Four days that had changed my whole life. And his.
So Halloween became much more than a simple festivity. It's our day. The day he and I became us. The day we became a family.
