Movement IX "Always."
Our first destination was Helsinki. It was years I wanted to drag my husband and our children to Helsinki. Show them the wonders of the Helsinki's winter which - even if cold- it's one of the most wonderful experiences in the world. Thus, I took them ice-skating, to the market and to caffeés to experience Helsinki's life.
My Deniz... I took him to another special trip. I took him North, to see the Northern Lights under the Polar Night. I took him to enjoy a true sauna, Finnish way. His behaviour... He is a Viking inside, even if he doesn't believe it. He didn't simply marry one. There is light and iron inside him. Silver and wood. On one of our anniversaries, I gave him a Viking bracelet. He wears it proudly and I know it'll protect him from anyone with bad intentions because our Gods must love him as much as I love him. There is a special place in Valhalla for him. He is a true warrior. We asked to become Helsinki's citizens and we were accepted. I'd like to say that I was coming back to my home city but I never was a Helsinki's citizen before.
We came back to Melbourne for a while before noticing that our children couldn't take any lessons at the university. They needed a bigger place, their knowledge was higher than the level imparted at the Melbourne's University. So we came back to Europe. To our so beloved Istanbul, where we spent... just a couple of nights before running to Helsinki again.
We kept travelling quite a lot. I guess it's easy to become a traveller after having been staying in a single city for years. A lot of years. We needed the freedom.
And I guess that the next step was touring. With our first world tour schedule in my hands, I felt happy. As happy as I hadn't felt in a little -oh, so little- while. Now, I could fulfil a promise and something I really wanted to do. Date Deniz in every city in the world.
Because he always will be the most important thing to me.
