Once upon a time,
There lives a boy who's very good with his hands. And I have always been amazed at how versatile his hands are, his many dreams he used to have as a teen featured them; only hands, brushing horses, holding a pitchfork to tend to the park foodstacks, hands open wide, beating -fingertips then the palms- on goblet drums, or in a karate stance, to cut the rhythm from the border, hands moving Petri dishes with maximum care, trying to avoid an explosion, hands gently squeezing a limb, his out field voice asking 'does it hurt'?; hands kneading dough, exploring the elastic mixture to find out the hidden form it longs to become.
And this is his sanctuary.
