Fantasia Diaries 2 (Mabrin Bomeg)

Another supposedly “normal” day in Fantasia… but let’s be honest, there’s no such thing as a normal day in our world! As my horse Megara and I made our way through the Monster Dungeons, the sign at the entrance said “Difficulty level: reasonable.” Lies! We’ve clearly wandered into the zone of “Those who enter regret it, those who escape are legends.”

Megara’s hoofsteps echo through the corridor, and I’m pretty sure she’s thinking the same thing as me: “We should’ve stayed in the stable today.” Darkness, traps, and on top of that, the ugly creature popping out of the corner giving me a look like, “Yeah, no luck in your dice either,” with that awful grin…

Meanwhile, my beloved wife (Nana Simplesorrow) is off in another realm, calmly leveling up. And here I am, rolling dice rolling and rolling but the result is always the same: small numbers, small hopes, massive misfortune. I swear these dice have a personal vendetta against me!

But anyway… The more I lose in this gamble, the more I realize I’m winning in love. So let the dice fall however they want; I just keep smiling to myself, thinking, “At least this will make a great story in the end.”
