A Moment I Won’t Forget 💚✨
Tonight I need to tell you about something that happened that cracked my heart wide open in the best way.
After a show a few nights ago, I was hanging around outside the venue, sweaty, exhausted, still buzzing from the noise. A girl came up to me, maybe 16, shy as hell, clutching this battered little notebook. She handed it to me and said, “Your songs kept me here.”
I swear, time stopped. We sat on the curb together while she told me about rough nights, about feeling invisible, and how screaming along to our music made her feel strong. And then she showed me lyrics she’d written — raw, messy, beautiful. Like a mirror of my own first scribbles.
We laughed, we cried, I hugged her tighter than my stage mic. And I told her what I’ll tell all of you: your voice matters. Your story matters. Don’t ever stop writing it down, screaming it out, or living it loud. 🖤
That’s the magic of all this — it’s not just shows or songs. It’s connection. It’s knowing none of us are alone in the mess.
So thank you, to her, and to every single one of you who’s ever shared a piece of your soul with me. I carry it with me always.
