Turning 18… Lera had truly become a young woman. At an age that should’ve been full of joy and hope, she had a heart of stone. And that stone heart softened for only one person. Stupid boy.
While she had a heart full of warmth to give, to him, Lera was invisible. That day was no different from any other birthday. The cake was bought, the candles were blown out, a slice was eaten. Classic.
But who knows maybe this age would change something… or maybe it would just bury the stone in Lera’s heart a little deeper.
