Yesterday: Pages. Today: Pool.

📍Tokyo — Lavender University | The Wisteria Nest

Yesterday was quiet. Studying with her in the Lavender library — just the two of us, a stack of books between us and some kind of gravity pulling my attention more toward her than the syllabus. She wore this lavender clip in her hair that caught the light every time she moved. I don’t remember a single chapter we covered, but I remember her smile when I offered her my last highlighter. Felt like something simple, but good. Like peace in a chaotic place.

Today flipped the script. Pool party at The Wisteria Nest — the dorms threw one of those surprise summer bashes, and the crew showed out. Betty strolled in blasting confidence, phone already out for selfies before her shoes were off. Eugene had his turntable setup stationed near the patio, playing a mix that felt like the soundtrack to youth itself. Woden was already poolside, sipping a soda like he’d been waiting for this scene all week. The water was cold, the air was hot, and everything in between felt golden.

Someone shouted for cannonballs. Eugy fell in with his shoes on. I got tossed in mid-drink. We laughed until we couldn’t breathe, floating on inflatable dreams and half-eaten popsicles. At some point, I caught her watching me from the dorm window — the same girl from the library — and I waved. She smiled again. That smile might live rent-free in my head.

Also, don’t ask me how, but my hair already grew back. Guess I heal fast... or maybe Tokyo air just knows how to treat a crown right. Might need to cut it again soon, before it starts doing that unruly curl thing.I don't know if days like this are supposed to mean something, but they feel like they do.
