Yeah, as it turns out,
my beautiful, amazing wife doesn't half-ass anything. If she makes a baby using my eggs, she makes two. And gotta admit, first hearing that we're having twins was a big surprise to both of us. But now, it never could have gone any other way.
We weren't the only one eagerly waiting to meet the newcomers, as our
Skye was maybe just a teeny bit impatient. Think of months of 'are the babies coming tomorrow?'-question barrage and you get the gist of it. But finally her (im)patient wait was awarded and the babies are here!
And, just to make things more interesting, of course the twins have different birthdays now! It wasn't the most easy delivery (I've been told), but
Ash rushed into the world on Day 1, followed by
Alexandra on Day 2. And Alex (yes, she'll be called Alex) now looks constantly suspicious because of this conspiracy to make her the youngest Baklanov in the family. I bet Ash cut in the line or something.
But just see how cute they are! Okay, well, this is Alex, as Skye wanted to hold Ash, but, anyway, they're both cute!
