The moonlight
I had already spent several nights gazing at the stars, whether at parties or in my own home. That day the sky was clear and the moon was like a mirrored globe of natural light.
My feet moved slowly in the pool forming waves where the light reflected in the water. If I looked a little further ahead, I could see some drawings come to life and that's where my smile widened.
I picked up my cell phone, fingering the screen. I activated the bluetooth mode to turn on the speaker around the pool, touching 'play' on the music I wanted to hear. With reddened lips and an evil smile, I began to sing, my eyes fixed where no one could admire but me.
