The Overdue Unnamed Second Tour

OK, I'll admit it, that's not the official name. It's not even the name for it amongst the band, that's just what I'm calling it in my head.
Maybe OUST for short, perhaps?

Anyway, whatever it is, it's due to kick off in the next few days. Hometown gig on the 21st, then we head off to Canada.

We've been rehearsing hard, as you'd expect, but we've also been hitting the studio as well. Got six or seven songs recorded, including what is being projected as the next single, Night. That's a song I wrote a while back, and it's a little different. Two narratives going through it, both set on the same night in New York City. The first is of Anya, a privileged rich girl from Manhattan, and the second is Julius, a guy from the wrong side of the tracks in the Bronx.
It's not a love story or anything, they never even meet, as far as we can tell. Certainly when I was writing it, they never meet, it was just to show two sides of the city.

Maybe we should ask Lux if she'd be willing to fund a video for it? I mean, a video would practically script itself.

Probably not. We've had too long a lay-off, and the tour, and the single, are mostly about getting our name back out there. Maybe getting an album out later.

Where we'll really hit the ground running is the tour after this one.

Perhaps we should start working on the name for that tour instead?
