Some nights carry more weight than others. There's a silence that wraps around you in the cabin of a private jet, yet your mind is louder than ever. The dim lights, the untouched dessert, the forced smile they all play their part in this quiet theatre.

Dark nights, you have many trembling words for me.

You sit back and laugh, fork in hand, as if the emptiness isn’t creeping in through the seams. But it is. You’ve learned to wear contentment like a jacket one size too big, a little cold inside. What people see: a young man eating mango under LED lights at 30,000 feet. What they don't: the weight pressing down, the unspoken.

So many ambitions waiting for me, I don’t care if they drain my endless patience.

People talk about dreams, but no one warns you what they cost. The higher you fly, the more it burns when someone you trust lets it snow on your mountains the ones you built with your bare hands.

You made it snow on the mountains I trusted… but you're still somewhere inside me, somewhere.

This smile, this photo, this frozen frame it’s a moment. One that doesn’t tell the whole story. But it tells enough.
