My First Magical Week

My new school Hogwarts is exactly the kind of place someone like me belongs.
Big castle big dreams.

Charms class was first.
We learned how to Wingardium Leviosa. Some kids couldn’t even make their feather flinch. Mine floated like it knew I was the main character.
The professor said I had natural control. I call it talent.

Divination was weird… but fun.
The classroom smelled like cinnamon tea. We read tea leaves.
Mine looked like fire. Professor Venetra said that meant great change and power ahead. Sure thing.

Quidditch training.
At first, my broom was being difficult (rude), but once I was in the air,
I felt it.
The wind, the speed, the sky..it was like flying was already in my blood.

At the end of the first week, Gryffindor and Slytherin were on tie house points.
We played a short match. Gryffindor came second. Slytherin beat us.
I smiled. I clapped. I acted cool. But inside;
I hate losing. I’m not here to become second.

So next week, I'll fly faster. I'll roar louder.
Because Gryffindors don’t give up.
And Leos?
We were born to lead.
