I wanted to start with a beautiful image, and nothing is more beautiful than her eyes when they look at me.



I never thought someone could change the way light lands on my life.
But then she walked in — softly, unintentionally — and suddenly everything started to warm.

Ethel.
My Solzinho.

I didn’t fall for her in a single moment.
It happened slowly, the way the sun rises without asking permission.
One smile at a time.
One quiet conversation.
One day where her presence felt less like company and more like clarity.

For so long, I believed love was something for others — not for people like me, shaped by discipline, shadows, and silence.
I thought I had to be sharper, cleaner, better to deserve anything real.
But she looked at me like I was enough… exactly as I am.

And that changed everything.

She showed me that I could be myself — the whole version, not the edited one.
That I didn’t need to bend, shrink, or harden to fit somewhere.
With her, I don’t perform.
I exist. And that’s enough.

She doesn’t realize it, but she’s been teaching me how to breathe again.
How to stop bracing for disappointment.
How to let someone look at me without flinching from the softness of it.

I call her my Solzinho because she brings warmth into places I had forgotten were cold.
But the truth is… she’s done more than illuminate my days.
She made me believe I could be loved — truly, honestly — without needing to turn into something else.

Some people break you open.
She opened me gently.
And for the first time in my life, I’m not afraid of the light.
