Some people carry chaos in their bags.
I carry the things that keep me from becoming it.

This week’s theme is about the essentials, the objects that stay with you even when everything else shifts. And for me, essentials aren’t about luxury or status. They’re anchors. Quiet reminders of who I am when the world gets too loud.

Here’s what never leaves my side:

• Perfume
I like scents that stay on the skin long after words fade. Fragrance is memory, and I choose mine carefully, sharp, clean notes that keep me grounded.

• A notebook
Because my mind never stops. Putting thoughts on paper is the only way to tame the noise before it becomes something heavier.

• A book
Silence isn’t always quiet. But a good book helps me find the kind of silence that actually heals instead of suffocates.

• The gym
Discipline is a language I understand better than people. Training keeps my body steady when emotions try to take over.

• My piano
The one place where everything I don’t say finally has somewhere to go.

Minimalist? Maybe.
Essential? Absolutely.

Sometimes the smallest things reveal the parts of us we hide the most.
