Soon after he met Vera, who became his first love and he forgot most of his career plans while doing semi-criminal stuff with her. Despite their stormy relationship, they ended up getting married. Soon after Can became a widow, taking care of their two sons and (not so successfully) pursuing a career as a doctor/musician.
