Bear in mind that you can't just get rid of a pet whenever you feel like it if you grow bored of it. Pets are living creatures and have to be treated with respect.
Pets also come with weekly costs so make sure you can afford one first. Failure to pay for the food for your pets will eventually cause them to starve to death.
