Elyssa, The Athlete?
*Public Service Announcement*
Before I start my latest blogcast I want to apologize to anyone who
finds my random sports invites annoying. It is what it is. Deal with it!

Ever since I was a 'lil kid, I've had so many changing goals,
and I've wanted to become so many things when I finally 'grew up'...
But 'athlete' was never one of those things!
As a kid I was a bit of a tomboy, playing cops 'n robbers, catching frogs,
and generally getting down 'n dirty with my best friend, Kyrian Blake Rossi...
My memory is starting to come back!!!
but I was never really interested in sports, per se.
Fast forward quite a few years, now I'm a young woman, and I realize
that I like sports! ...correction: I don't like sports, I just like winning!
I've recently realized that I'm good at sports. Like, really good!
I have some kind of natural talent, and it feels good beating the pants off
much more experienced players who mistakenly dismiss me as just
another delinquent teenager. ...I'm the real deal!
The plan was always to start a music career, with my gangsta sister,
Medusa, and follow in the footsteps of my Dad... But now I'm second-
guessing that plan. I've been reading over some of my old journals from
my childhood, and I really did have a talent for rapping, even as a child...
and I'm sure I could still do it again, but I'm having too much fun on the
soccer field! I have, like, zero motivation to start my music career.
But I'm still young and all about fun!
I shouldn't have to decide my whole future yet!
Who knows, next year I might be into boring chess, or lame trading cards.
