As a university professor, Allen had learned a few things from his years of experience:

1. Everybody lies.
2. Everyone looks for the easiest way out.
3. Many are dissatisfied with where they are.

These truths hit him hard as he interacted with students over time. Observing their behavior, hearing their excuses, and grading their work, Allen couldn't ignore the lies, the urge to take the easy way out, and the constant discontent.

Sometimes he struggled to grasp why these students acted this way. After all, they chose their studies and came to university of their own accord; shouldn't they be motivated and happy? But as he began to feel a growing void within himself, one that no amount of academic work or late nights at the university could fill, Allen started to understand his students a little better.

He just couldn't quite figure out what he was searching for or what was missing until he unexpectedly found himself on stage with his new band. A band he hadn't even planned to join.

It was at that moment that he realized what he needed: music. No amount of academic achievement could compare to the electric thrill of performing and hearing the crowd beg for more!
