The relationship between her parents was never good, so when Janice was 4, they divorced and she went to live with her mother.

"My mom was a hippie. I spent part of my childhood in a small house in the middle of nowhere without a tv or more technology than a wall clock, but we were happy. For many years we were nomads. We lived in my mother's old van, a Kombi. It was great! It was turquoise with colorful flowers that could hardly be seen after so many years, but one day, my mother and I decided to repaint them, it was a wonderful day. We visited many places travelling in that old junk" -she told us.

She always felt a strong connection with nature. When she was 9, she moved to a tree house. She lived there alone for months. Some of the lessons she received from her mother were about art & music. She taught her to paint and dance from an early age. Janice is a brave, dreamy and passionate woman. She never gives up.
