Privacy Statement

Privacy Statement - A brief summary

The Privacy Statement is fairly long, and in English, so we understand that you might not wish to read it all (but you should). Below is a short, translated summary of the important parts of it:

  • In order to provide you access to Popmundo/The Great Heist, we need to store information about you that can be used to identify you as a person, such as your email address, IP addresses and browsers used while accessing the game etc. This information will not be shared with anyone, and we will do what is in our power to protect it from others.
  • By logging in to Popmundo/The Great Heist, you grant us the right to store this information for up to two years after you last logged in, or until the day you request us to remove it. You also grant us the right to send you service related messages, information about important updates and offers to return to our services.
  • Any information you submit to Popmundo/The Great Heist as a character (things like forum posts, avatar images, conversation messages etc) are not considered personal information, and you should never submit anything there than can be used to identify you or another person.
  • We use some services, such as Google AdSense and Google Analytics, that may or may not install cookies to identify you. This is beyond our control.
  • You may ask us to remove ("anonymize") your user identifiable information by using the "Forget me" function*. However, by doing so it will make it impossible for you to return to any of our websites with the same user account.
  • If you do not log in for two years, your account information will be automatically anonymized. We'll try to send some reminders to your currently registered email address before that.

With that said, we strongly suggest that you read the entire Privacy Statement.
